Stormwater Harvesting and Reuse
Environmental Protection and Heritage Council Phase II Australian Guidelines for Water Recycling-Stormwater Harvesting and Reuse
The guidelines are being developed as part of a wider water resource framework and set out to provide guidance and a risk management approach to ensure that Stormwater can be used safely in a variety of fit for purpose settings, and to ensure that the processes are practicable and enabling.
Stormwater Victoria's submission supported the approach taken, but highlighted the need for ongoing research and innovation to be adapted into practice and made recommendations on practical methods for objectively assessing the quality of Stormwater and the levels of risk posed through its use. |
